Her
How often do you listen to her? Do you keep going when she’s begging for time out? Can you even hear her anymore? We are all guilty of not listening, of being disconnected to who she really is. Sometimes we forget she’s even there, we just keep going. And sometimes, that is too late. She starts to break down, piece by piece, until we take notice.
By the time some of my clients get to me for healing, she is screaming for help. This world is so crazy busy that we just do not have time to stop and check in with our bodies and if we do we don’t have the time or energy to give her the attention she needs.
When I started treating my ladies that came to me for Kinesiology, Spinal Flow or Healing of any type, I could feel the exhaustion in them before they even spoke. The overwhelm of life had blanketed the connection of the mind to body, just so she could keep up with the demands of her everyday life.
Some of these woman had been so disconnected to her for so long that when we did a simple exercise to reconnect mind to body, the tears flowed freely, she’d forgotten who she was.
‘She’, is our body, our soul, our form carrying our light of who we are, our Avatar for this life and her army is her Nervous System.
When we disconnect from her it is like we have our hands up under our chins blocking our view of her below. We can make her move, walk, dance and do magical things without even thinking to hard for it. We can feel blisters, pain and discomfort, after the trauma of what we have done to her… but we cannot hear or feel her until we have pushed her too far.
She is so smart, so very smart that she talks to you all the time. She’ll make you feel a certain way when she does not want to do something or something is not right for her, her instincts are primal, heed her warning, she knows best. Her Army will be ready to fight at a moments notice to keep her safe, though if they fight too much they can get stuck in fight or flight mode and they’ll burn her out.
We keep pushing and pushing to go, go, go, keep moving, keep going and finally she will say ‘No More’ I must rest. But because we cannot hear her, she’ll show you her way how to slow down and that is with a cold, a flue, pain, exhaustion, migraines, whatever she needs to stop you before she becomes chronic.
We can re-connect with her if we listen, she’ll tell you what she needs. Sleep, when she is tired, rest when she aches, nourish her when she’s weak and seek help when she can’t find her way.
Lay quietly and comfortable, eyes closed and feel her starting with your toes. keep your focus on just feeling your toes and do not move that focus up your feet until you really feel them. Move your focus up your feet slowly and keep that focus on your feet.
Do they ache, are they cold, warm? What can you feel? Moving up to your ankles, give them a little twist feeling gratitude for her along the way. Feel the blood pumping through your body down to your toes, feel your calves, flex them back and forth slowly. Stay in this focus as long as you need to feel her again before moving to your knees. Are they sore, what do they need? Ask her, for the pressure they are under daily they may need more focus. Do they need rest? Is your lifestyle causing them more harm than necessary?
Such power in her legs to keep us mobile and able, feel them, do you feel the blood flowing through with your lifeforce? Give gratitude for her ability to keep you walking, she is so strong.
Moving up to your hips, place your hands on your lower abdomen and feel the warm energy radiant from your hands to your feminine. Ground the energy to yourself and feel how special you are as a woman, to be able to create life and if you cannot create life, you are no less, you are wonderous. Stay in this focus and let yourself bathe in her wonder, feeling gratitude for your body and all she can do.
Connecting your lower body to your stomach, move your hands and feel, what does she need? Does she need nurturing, is she struggling with her food? Anxiety? Breathe deeply and release all tension with the outflow of breathe and feel her relax under your touch. Ask what she needs and listen, your intuition can give you her answers.
Glide your hands upwards to your chest and take deep breathes, giving gratitude for the breathe she inhales and exhales to keep you alive. Feel your heart beating your life force through your body. Can you feel the movement of blood flowing throughout, your heart beating, your lung expanding? Stay in this focus feeling how miraculous she is. Thank her for all she does for you and get to know her again.
Glide you focus back down to your toes and slowly run your focus back up your body, feeling her, acknowledging her and thanking her, re-connecting with her.
