WHAT IS ACCESS BARS?
Access Bars® is a light touch nurturing treatment that deeply relaxes the brain and the body. There are 32 points (or Bars) on the head which correlate to different areas of life. During a session, lightly touching these points can help reduce stress and trauma throughout the body and increase positive attitudes toward life. The main feedback from sessions includes a more peaceful mind, an improved outlook on life, an ability to sleep better and increased energy and creativity with similar effects to meditation. It provides deep relaxation, quiets a racing mind and reduces stress.

HOW DOES IT WORK?
When lightly touched, the Bars points stimulate a positive neurological response inside the brain and release the electromagnetic components of stress, thoughts and emotions. Dr. Terrie Hope, Ph.D., DNM, published an article in the journal Energy Psychology: Theory, Research & Treatment in November 2017, describing how the results of one Access Bars session indicated a significant decrease in the severity of depression and anxiety. Read the article here. Further research was done in 2015 by leading neuroscientist Dr. Jeffrey L. Fannin, with 60 participants. He discovered that Access Bars had a positive neurological effect on the recipients, similar to those experienced by advanced meditators – and it produced results immediately
